Due to the tremendous temporary housing growth in Williams County, ND to support energy development, this facility was designed to meet the need for sanitary sewage treatment. The facility was designed on a 45 acre site by Rhino Engineering to accommodate up to 80,000 gallons per day of untreated sanitary sewage delivered from area man camps. Site design included road access and maneuverability of trucks arriving, dumping and leaving, as well as temporary truck storage. The stabilization pond was designed according to North Dakota state requirements and included a design for storm water diversion ditches.

On a twenty acre site, north of Williston, ND, Rhino Engineering has designed a treatment facility to accommodate up to 80,000 gallons per day of effluent delivered daily from area man camps. Treatment will consist of primary treatment (settling processes), secondary treatment to lower BOD and TSS, and a polishing pond to further improve water quality parameters of the wastewater. The design includes a provision for discharge to an adjacent slough when necessary as well as the required permitting.

Rhino Engineering designed this treatment facility to accommodate 40,000 gallons per day of untreated sanitary sewage from area man camps. The wastewater plant and stabilization pond are located on approximately 4 acres of a 20 acre site site, 4 miles north of Alexander, ND. Design includes diverting storm water to existing drainage and away from the stabilization pond. As part of the development, contracts have been signed to reuse the water for fracking operations and other possible reuse.
